Transplanting Process

Acre-by-acre precision for drought-resilient agave fields

From GPS mapping to mechanized rigs and post-plant analytics, we deliver California's first dedicated farm-scale agave transplanting workflow. Every phase is engineered for survival, uniformity, and data-backed planning.

Field Assessment & Mapping

We start on site with soil samples, slope reviews, and irrigation audits.

GPS-enabled row layout with standard ~1,037 plants per acre baseline.

Drainage and pH verification plus amendment recommendations if needed.

Equipment access planning to keep rigs and support vehicles efficient.

Deliverable: Acre-by-acre field map, spacing plan, and survival projections aligned to your timeline.

Mechanized Transplanting

Custom rigs and trained crews place thousands of agaves daily with precision spacing.

Root-safe handling, consistent depth, and on-rig QC for every placement.

Plant material staged by lot number to preserve traceability and variety assignments.

Crew cadence calibrated to irrigation hookups so no row is left exposed.

Deliverable: Daily production reports detailing counts, locations, and any variances resolved in the field.

Establishment & Performance Monitoring

We stay engaged through early growth to lock in survival rates and vigor.

Irrigation scheduling tuned to soil profile, season, and plant maturity.

Nutrition programs and pest monitoring in partnership with your agronomists.

Optional drone imaging (multispectral + LiDAR) for stand counts and vigor scoring.

Deliverable: 30/60/120-day reporting with survival benchmarks, remediation actions, and harvest outlooks.
